The Legend of Zelda: Breath if the Wild’s story is set 100 years after the reawakening of Calamity Ganon. Calamity Ganon is the main boss of the entire game in which players can fight him right after the tutorial or until they completed everything else in the game that they can do. The beginning of Breath of the Wild is very reminiscent of the very first Legend of Zelda game with Link coming out of a cave into a vast world; just more 3D than previously. Once Link has finished the Great Plateau region, the tutorial region, The Old Man that Link has encountered will tell the tale of what happened 10000 years ago. The tale that the Old Man tells Link is that Calamity Ganon rises every so often and every time Ganon rises, the embodiment of the Goddess and a hero wielding the Sword that Seals the Darkness will also awaken to be there to seal Ganon away once again. What is Breath of the Wild?

Breath of the Wild, or BotW for short, is a game part of the Legend of Zelda series. BotW is a third-person open world adventure styled game, where the main goal of the game is to defeat the main villain, Ganon; or Calamity Ganon in this case. Unlike many other Legend of Zelda games, the player does not have any control to rename their hero, Link, and is instead stuck with the name from the start. Breath of the Wild has been described as one of the best games of the year by critics and has broke Nintendo's sales records in numerous regions. BotW sold over seven million copies worldwide on both the Nintendo switch and the Wii U. BotW also has a  very detailed physics engine along with very high definition graphics along with voice acting by characters other than Link.
