What is Breath of the Wild?

Breath of the Wild has been described as one of the best games of the year by critics and has broke Nintendo's sales records in numerous regions. BotW sold over seven million copies worldwide on both the Nintendo switch and the Wii U. BotW also has a very detailed physics engine along with very high definition graphics along with voice acting by characters other than Link.
Some new game play mechanics have also been added to the Legend of Zelda series along with some being brought back from previous games. Stamina has been brought back from previous games but with the added benefit of being able to upgrade the stamina wheel to make it last a lot longer. Stamina is very important to the players who choose to run everywhere due to the fact that Stamina is used to climb, para-glide, and of course run. Climbing and paragliding have been added to BotW; Link can now climb anything that you can ever dream of, unless is slopes outwards.
Climbing does use stamina but to make climbing quicker you can use more stamina and go a little faster. Rain is Link's worse enemy when climbing due to the slippery nature of the thing he is trying to climb; Rain will cause Link to slip loosing more stamina and fall a little downwards making progress really slow when its raining. Paragliding works a little different than anything else in the Zelda franchise.

Breath of the Wild has a lot of other mechanics in it that I will be going over in other blog posts so that every one can know as much as they can about BotW.
