Gerudo Town and Divine Beast Vah Naboris

Image
Gerudo Town can be easy to get to if the player has both Rupees and a way to keep cool if traveling during the day. The main problem that the player will get is trying to get into Gerudo Town when they are right outside its walls. This is because Gerudo Town is an all Vai town, or all-female town, which does not allow Voe, males, to enter it. Link being a male as he is cannot enter Gerudo Town as he is currently. As you try finding a way inside the town you may notice someone standing near the main entrance to Gerudo Town. He basically says that he is looking for a man who can sneak inside Gerudo Town so that he too can get inside. With a little more detective skills under Link's belt, you find the man who sells you the gear you need to get inside of Gerudo Town. Once inside of Gerudo Town you have the fun task of fighting the Yiga Clan. The Yiga Clan is a very hard stealth-like area that requires you to not get caught or be faced off against instant-killing enemies. There are so

Rito Village and Divine Beast Vah Medoh

Image
Rito Village, in my opinion, is the second easiest village due to the fact that you do not need any special gear to be able to get to it. However, to complete Divine Beast Vah Medoh you would need the Snowquil Armor or have some source of cold-resistance active. There are multiple ways to get to Rito Village, but the major inconvenience of getting there is the fact that there is a giant chasm separating the rest of the world and the region of Hebra and Tabantha. The main way across this chasm is from the Tabantha Stable and crossing the bridge there. The other way that is not climbing back up is just going around the chasm which is a long detour.  Like Zora's Domain main quest, Rito Village's is also pretty straightforward with a fun minigame to be able to fight Medoh. This minigame requires arrows and the ability to aim somewhat quickly. This is because you will be in a wind vortex which requires you to hit five targets within 3 minutes. The part about aiming quickly is be

Zora's Domain and Divine Beast Vah Ruta

Image
Zora's Domain is home to Divine Beast Vah Ruta, the elephant Divine Beast, who is currently making endless rain fall down onto Zora's Domain. Zora's Domain is, in my opinion, one of the easiest Divine Beast village in the game. The path to get to Zora's Domain is very simple and when you are near any path that can lead up to Zora's Domain there is a Zora that will tell you to go to Zora's Domain. The only inconvenience you will get on the way to Zora's Domain is the enemies that are camped out on the pathway. If the player chooses another path to Zora's Domain then their will be no inconvenience there, other than the fact that it is in the middle of a lake. The main quest in Zora's Domain is pretty straight forward and there is no need to buy anything from Zora's Domain. This is because the main piece of armor that is needed to do Divine Beast Vah Ruta is given to the player from one of the NPC's. The only challenging thing to do concern

Memories and Armor

Image
Enemies get progressively harder as you progress through the game in Breath of the Wild. Silver being the max in normal mode and gold in master mode. This means that enemies get harder to kill and deal more damage to kill you. This can be countered by getting more hearts from completing shrines, but there is another way to take more damage. This is from armor. Armor can be collected from shrines, chests, quests, or can be brought from certain shop NPCs. Armor give defenses which decreases the damage of the weapon hitting you. Each  piece of armor may give an attribute like swim speed up or climb speed up. Armors can also be upgraded at a Great Fairy Fountain. Upgraded armor gives more defense along at level two, some sets can give a set bonus if the other set pieces are at level two. There are four Great Fairy Fountains in the world that the player can find. Great Fairy Fountains are unlocked by spending Rupees. Each time one is unlocked the price is increased. The unlocking pri

Side Quests and Korok Seeds

Image
There will be a point in the game when you have nothing left to do because you have done all the shrines and defeated Calamity Ganon. Well like most games, there are side quests! There is a total of 76 side quests from just getting the game. The DLC (Downloadable Content) adds a lot more side quests. These quests are optional, hence why they are called side quests. Even though side quests are in fact optional, early game they can be a source of Rupees, the game currency. These side quests can be found anywhere in the game; to the top of the tallest mountain, and to the bottom of the deepest gorge. Finding all of the side quests can be a annoying at first but the majority of the side quests are at villages or at stables, with a few scattered here and there. There are three main things that a side quests will make you do: collect something for them, kill something for them, or complete a task for them. There may be a few exceptions but most side quests are about that. Once you have com

Shrines

Image
Shrines in Breath of the Wild is one of the most important things that the player can do in terms of getting stronger. Of course there are other ways to get stronger: like upgrading armor or getting better weapons. Shrines do one of two things once you completed 4 of them; increasing max hearts by one or increasing max stamina by 1/5 of a wheel. Of  course Shrines will be where you will be spending most of your time early on finding the locations of due to the fact that there are 120 total Shrines. Shrines are scattered across the world which the player then has to find and activate them to unlock the fast travel to it. Some shrines also require some special thingy to be done to find the Shrine. These special task are considered Shrine Quests which can do many a things to get the shrine to appear. From arranging certain things in order, to having a rock struck by lightning, or even shooting through something can complete the Shrine Quest and get the Shrine. Most Shines have a cer

The Sheikah Slate

Image
The Sheikah Slate is one of Link's, and the players, best tool and can possibly be a decent weapon when all else fails. This doesn't mean that Link will go up to enemies and whack them with his Sheikah Slate as funny as that would be, but in the use of Runes as stated in last blog post. Although runes is one of the most useful aspects of the Sheikah Slate when the player is fighting enemies or in shrines, the Sheikah Slate has many more uses. One use is to see the map, which can be very important. On the map, the player is able to place stickers to mark locations that they may want to visit later in life. The player can also place beacons which will show up on the miniature mini-map in game which can help the player get to a place without stopping to check their map every two seconds. The Sheikah Slate also acts as the player's inventory, storing all the items that Link can pick up. Weapons, Shields, and Bows all have a max amount of spots that can be filled up but can
